One of the most successful projects of the organization is radio broadcasting. Radio ATINATI (FM 105’9) broadcasts with the license N387 gained on 09.01.1998. Its broadcasting area consists of Samegrelo, Adjara, Imereti, Guria regions and Abkhazia as well. Radio has more than 1,6 ml potential listeners. The mission of the radio is to deep the trust between different levels of the society. It broadcasts 24 hours a day having informational and musical programs /33%-67%/. Newscasts are aired every sharp hour, from 8:00 till 23:00 o’clock, 3 times in Russian language among them. Radio transmits Russian language programs of radios Deutsche Welle and BBC, also Georgian language program of RFE/RL. ATINATI also participates in the project “This Morning” prepared by RFE/RL and cooperates with BBC project “Radio Diaries” and Caucasus newspaper “Panorama”. Radio prepares talk-shows on ongoing political and social events, which allows listeners to participate by phone calls. Radio has its weekly program net, which consists of musical-entertaining programs and interactive programs on social, political, economic, legislative and other topics. Radio also airs daily Russian musical program and weekly program for women, both of them have high rating among listeners, who call during the programs and participate in it, these programs are popular especially among the population of Abkhazia.

ATINATI is a member organization of Georgian-Abkhazian conflict regulatory net. As for the radio, it is systematically involved in conflict regulatory projects, donors of which were: Consolation Resources, IREX, UNV, NRC, NED, and WAR CHILD.

Radio ATINATI is a high rated among the regional population. In September 2006, radio conducted pubic opinion survey. Among 650 interviewees, 67% listens to the radio “ATINATI”, 14% listens to other radios and19% is not a radio listener at all.  

This high rating enables ATINATI to sell business advertisements and air time, also to make business representatives to sponsor radio programs.
